With its proximity to Los Angeles International Airport, and its easy access to LA’s major freeways, Marina del Rey is an ideal home base for a Southern California getaway. The Marina is within a short drive of many iconic Los Angeles tourist attractions including Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Griffith Observatory. Cultural attractions include The Getty Museum and Villa, The Broad Museum, and the LA County Museum of Art.
Many of our attractions can be enjoyed outdoors, from our golden beaches, to the hiking trails of Griffith Park and the Santa Monica mountains. Shopping opportunities range from the eclectic store of Abbot Kinney, to the world-renowned merchants of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
And after a busy day racing or sightseeing, enjoy al fresco dining at a variety of nearby shore side restaurants.

Southern California may be known for its car culture, but while in Marina del Rey it’s best to leave your car behind. Very limited parking for competitors is available at California Yacht Club.
Additional parking may be found in nearby county lots, located at 4350 Admiralty Way (Marina Parking Lot #7) and 4545 Admiralty Way (Marina Parking Lot #5). Parking is available at $10 per day, with no overnight parking allowed. Further details are available here.
